Wedding Flowers

Flowers have been a staple to the bridal look since the ancient Romans wore floral garlands to their nuptials as a symbol of fertility, fidelity, and new beginnings. The Victorian era influenced traditional bouquets by introducing the symbolic meaning of flowers, and today, Bridal bouquets convey heartfelt sentiments and expressions of love.

But, as costs rise and with a wide variety of beautiful flowers to choose from, it’s hard to know where to begin, while also considering if you can create something truly special on a budget. However, an online florist could just be the answer to sourcing seasonal stems that remain cost-effective.

Dani Turner, customer experience director at online florist Bunches, says: “Traditionally, flowers are a key part of wedding décor and the bridal bouquet is seen as an extension of the wedding outfit, making a statement as the bride walks down the aisle.

“There are many flowers that bloom all year around, such as Roses and Chrysanthemums, but to get the most from your florals, and your budget, it’s best to opt for some in-season flowers. These are often always suited to seasonal colour schemes and produce the best show at the time of your big event.”
