It’s time to shower your bridesmaids with love and appreciation on this special occasion!
1. Personalised Handwritten Notes
In this day and age where practically everything is digital, why not take the time to handwrite a lovely thank you note to each of your bridesmaids, expressing your gratitude for their ongoing love and support. This is a thoughtful and meaningful way to show your appreciation for them without spending a copious amount of money on lavish gifts. It’s the little things that count after all.
2. Home Spa Day
We know a spa day with the girls is the ultimate way to chill – but unfortunately, heading to a posh spa can cost quite a bit, so why not opt to enjoy a relaxed spa session at home instead? Buy in some face, hand and foot masks, along with under eye treatments too and experience a budget spa day! You could scatter cushions on the floor of your living room, add fairy lights and candles and play calming music to create a serene and tranquil atmosphere. 3. Bridesmaids Picnic
You really can’t beat a picnic, especially when the sun is shining! So why not organise a picnic in a local park or other outdoor space with your favourite girls? If the weather’s not on your side, then you an either rearrange or take the picnic inside at home!
4. Movie Marathon
Popcorn? Check! Best friends? Check! Feel good movies? Check! One of our favourite ways to spend some quality time with our friends is of course a movie marathon. Bonus points for wedding themed movies!
5. Cocktail Night
Hands up who loves a cocktail! Yep, that’s all of you, we thought so! But if you and your squad are looking to save some pennies, then why not host your very own cocktail night at one of your houses? You could each bring the ingredients to make your very own signature cocktail and take it in turns to mix up, before serving and enjoying. Oh and don’t forget to cater for any non-drinkers with mocktails instead!
6. Get Crafty!
Gather the gang and organise a DIY arts and crafts day (or night), where you and your bridesmaids can create personalised wedding favours, decorations or keepsakes. If you’re looking for an experience to try together, then a really gorgeous idea is flower crown making, where you’ll each learn to craft your own bespoke floral headpiece, using an assortment of beautiful faux flowers. You could even wear them on the wedding day if they turn out well!

Not only is it free, but you’ll get to spend some quality time with your friends and release some endorphins too. Pack drinks and snacks in case you get peckish, or if you’ve got money to spare, why not swing by a country pub on route for lunch?
